Coventry Motor Museum

No such thing as a free lunch they say but the entry to the Coventry Motor Museum is free. Located right in the city centre if you follow the clear signs it takes you to a car park at the back of the museum where I parked for 4 hours at a cost of £3. You will not find any Fiat cars in there but loads of old stuff to look at and worth a visit if you are in the area

I went to the reopening of Gaydons British Motor Museum. Its ok. Had a bit of a revamp. £14 to get in. Cafe food good but pricey. However they tell u there is a new Collection centre with 250 cars in. Well there is BUT the only way in is via a BOOKED guide tour which you have to book only when you pay. So a bit mis leading

We were in the museum for a bit over 2 hours which included getting a couple of bacon rolls, a tea and a posh coffee for under £8 in the cafe there. As we were not in a hurry we walked just up the road to Coventry Cathedral. They wanted £5 to go into a building that looked a bit like a greenhouse from the Eden Project so we passed on that one.
