Kop Hill Climb 2015

Woke up yesterday morning and remembered it was the Kop Hill event at Princess Risborough so went along to enjoy the cars and sunshine. It is a local event with a now international following. Also I had just built a custom gearbox for a Fiat 500 Abarth 695 that was due to be there if it got back together in time. It made it )




Just so many old cars and bikes there and you get to see them all running with the odd breakdown as many vehicles are over 100 years old.

Only took a few pics. Brooklands Motor Museum brought along a couple of cars including my favourite . The 24 litre Napier Railton that holds the 174 mph track record on tyres that are about as thick as your arm.

Then next to that was a very shiny almost similar looking car with a great big Cummins Diesel engine




I had a word with the owner and he said that he loved the original so much that he built his own and took great pride in telling me that he could run it on "farmer's friend"
I liked the look of this Triumph Italia of which 300 were built in Italy
