R/H DRIVE HEADLIGHTS

For a 1969 500 , can anyone help?

next to impossible to find :(
best bet is to use RHD lenses with LHD shells

They occasionally come up on ebay.
Usually scenario is that you use the old ones that's if it's a a UK RHD model. If you have an imported LHD you will have a problem.
I used LHD lights on my 500 and it was never a problem, but I think my MOT man was kind.

My 500L has always had LHD headlamps . Come MOT time I just stick a bit of tape on the lenses then when I get home I take it off for the rest of the year. However as a precaution I have worked out a solution using Triumph 5 3/4" sealed beam units which you can buy cheaply in any motor factors or ebay  [-/

Nope, 500 is round, 126 is oblong

I fitted Triumph sealed beam units in my 500, I had to grind out a small section of the chrome surround return lip, at the rear to get the unit in place.  I cut down the old light unit fitted it over the sealead beam used the original wire clips etc. it fitted just like the original.
