Ive heard of people using the cinqy engines before and would love to see one! On the subject of gearboxes would an 87 model have syncro on all forward gears?

Im about to fit one in my 500, with a bit of luck it will be up and running in a couple of weeks. 1108 MPI Ã¢â‚¬â€œ converted to run on carbs. Made two sets of adaptor plates, studs spigot shaft bearings etc, so ones for sale for the right price.

I have two boxes so will have one rebuilt and ready to go in if the other fails. I think it should be ok as long as I am not too agresssive in first. There is a company in Germany who makes a very strong five speed for race 500/126's, it's expensive at 1700 euros but in the long term it might be worth looking at.

Will let you know, at the weekend, we have a spare block which we will use for mock-up, and are going to get it attached to the box in the car and 'wing it' from there.

Should be a laugh when its done :twisted: Anybody want a highly tuned 650 aircooled with all the bits (exhaust, carb, alternator etc etc)?
