Hi guys and girls.
Im Ross, 24 from Grimsby. I dont currently have a 126 but did have one in the past when i was 18. It only lasted a week till i killed it

Anyhoo im gonna get another with the sole purpose of turboing it!
I currently have a 1990 skyline gtr
1993 renault 5 turbo powered van
1978 mini pick up
1978 vw camper turbod

1966 vw camper soon to be turbo
1986 bmw 325 sport
Im gonna aim for 50 bhp from an aircooled 650 turbo
Any way thats me!

You can get more than 50 by getting the engine rebored and set up properly.
Would be better off sticking a bigger engine in. golf engines are popular. VW aircooled would be a doddle, Skoda aircooled. Plent of choice and much cheaper and more efective than the Turbo way.

Yeah i would like more than 50 but i just want to see the limitations of the standard 126 motor to begin with. As for engine swaps if it comes to it ive got a 1400 turbo out of my renault APPARANTLY which was dynod at 240bhp which should fit in quite snuggly

Can you make a 126 handle real nice and tight like a mini or is it pretty much mission impossible?

For the super mechanic you seem to be the question is a little strange. Surely you have some idea about handling if you are supertining all these cars.
Yes they can be made to handle.

Hi ross welcome to the forum.Really like the split screen camper you have,i saw a crew cab this week with a 2ltr subaru engine in it but was not a turbo model. :cool:

Hmmm... some interesting notes on cylinder heads in there

I think ive heard something about fitting panda heads to 126s in the past.
Is this a popular mod and are the heads readily available or are they from certain import models etc.
Always best to do your homework before embarking on such a project.

Hi Ross,welcome,hows the form?The 126 can handle quite nicely(even in stantard form) it all depends on the monkey behind the wheel

I,ve pissed off Porsche drivers in the past (in a corner any way,probibly because the numpty in the Porsche could'nt drive his finger up his arse) :shock: .Anyway mate welcome any probs i'm sure we could help.By the way Dajwid air cooled skoda?Tell me more.

Seen a 126 with a 120 skoda engine fitted. went like hell.Not sure what box he used.
Most people here use fiat Cinquecento engines.
