Hi all,
I am typing you now with only one hand, cos "it costs an arm and a leg", still got my pair of legs, with this project I do not know for how long

Few days ago received a purchase from
http://dellorto.co.uk. Not to mention how happy I feel

Well, I am converting a 1000cc (pair of 2000cc Alfa) to 650cc using as a starting point the jetting of Alfa Romeo Giulietta 1300 (1980) in my case Dellorto DHLA 40. I got some close size jets as well. Who knows what would fit best...
Here you got two examples for Weber starting points, just stick to 28mm chokes:
Giulietta Sprint Veloce
Engine capacity: 1290 cc
Weber model: 40 DCOE 2
Choke: 29
Auxiliary venturi: 4.50
Main jet: 110
Idle jet: 50F11
Emulsion tube: F16
Air corrector jet: 200
Accelerator pump jet: 35
Accelerator pump back bleed: 70
Needle valve: 150
1300 GT Junior Super
Engine capacity: 1290 cc
Weber model: 40 DCOE 28
Choke: 28
Auxiliary venturi: 4.50
Main jet: 112
Idle jet: 50F11
Emulsion tube: F16
Air corrector jet: 210
Accelerator pump jet: 35
Accelerator pump back bleed: 60
Needle valve: 150
http://twincarbs.com/To gain something out of it on a standard engine (single port inlet) you would need to put a real exhaust. It will wake about 2-4 horsies (10-15%) up, would be pretty dynamic and with more luck, if it is properly adjusted, when you do not treat it like a racer, could make a better millage. Also a bit of a wow-effect

No miracles here, just physics.
Enjoy that game, Will!
Best regards!
