Bis exhaust suppliers?
« on: October 04, 2014, 08:19:06 PM »
Hi all,

just wondering if anyone knows where I might be able to get a bis exhaust cheap? Everything i'm seeing is £130-200 :(. Eurocarparts have some kind of thing you might be able to order in at £70 or so.

Can't see the repairs holding up for as long as i'd really like so trying to spot the best next option if it isn't making something up lol.

Was the first place I looked for the auspuff, about 140 eur I think was the cheapest I'd seen.  Ricambio actually about the same with one in stock lol.

Cheers Lad, looks like the cheapest option so far!

will a generic universal 1.25" exhaust flange do the trick I wonder? Can get all manner of stainless mandrel bent pipe near me and thinking about attempting to make one using my other head as a guide/jig

 No problem Poxxy.

Chad, if you have a look at the link one of them is a sport exhaust, also listed as Giardiniera, not cheap though at 165 Euros. Wondering if it would fit?

Its also for sale elsewhere on an italian site for 140 so might be cheaper elsewhere... although looking at it... the brackets are welded to the rest of the thing and double pea shooter pipes coming out the back... I'd want better for the money :D...

I wonder how it looks inside, if its just the same as the normal exhaust in the silencer box... because I doubt there would be much of an improvement over stock other than a slightly different look if they're the same! I guess a polished surface would flow better than cast lol.
