Hello from devon
« on: August 20, 2014, 11:47:56 PM »
Hi all.
I'm robin from torbay (brixham)
I've had 126s in the past and have had a bis sitting in the wings for about 4 years ... Now the time has come to make a cbr1000rr 126 :)
As a result of my project I have lots of unneeded parts , such as engine ,gearbox , seats , rads , clocks , full running gear and so on . If anyone is interested let me know .
I also have a complete bis up for sale ,needs some work as it's been sat for about 9 months since it ran out of mot Cheers

Are there many people from Devon on the site ?

To my knolege there is a yamaha r1 126 in totnes but im still not sure where.

Is it only bis bits that you have or do you have some aircooled bits too.

The bike powered 126 is white, I only know about it from one the internet(youtube) and two one of our costomers(i work at a garage) friends ownes the car.

I have only ever seen 1 red bis(to my knowlege it has been broken for parts, and a red/orange aircooled 126 in/around newton abbot.

I was thinking of getting a spare engine.

good luck with the proect anyway and maybe I will see you around when you get it done, it will be good to see. 8)

All of mine have been red haha
I first got in to fiats because I rolled my mates one and had to buy it off him haha hamered the roof back out  and put it back on the road as it had 12 months mot , broke that one for parts after the 12 months ,
then another mate Had a little bump in his one and I had that off him .
That's the one I am working on now .
And I seem to have acquired another one now but I'm selling it on .

Nope , wasn't me .
I know there used to be guy in totnes who had two 500s and a couple 126s as well but I think he moved away or something .
A guy at my work used to have a cream 126 and a totaly nakered 500 .
There was also a white one in Newton that an old couple used as a tow car for there campervan .
Quite a few about really as it's such a small area .

one of our costomers has a fiat 500, lives in torqay, i have driven it a few times its great fun. its amazing how much smaller the 500 is to the 126 let alone the new 500.

I'm suprised how many there are and i don't see any :(,where are they all hiding.

sounds good but i can't hink of the gararge. which way to totnes do you mean. I normally go from tweenaway lights past the ocean garage and carry on that way to go to totnes.

I have seen a 500 van on a bisness card that ricambio sent me and i have also seen a 500 gardiner at the steam fair last year and a few times after that.
