Hey Gadge!!

The installation of the Tripods was very easy thanks to a PDF that Piotross mailed to me (http://motomax.pl/www-1/instrukcje/instrukcja-126.pdf)

But, since in my Country the streets are in terrible shape, holes everywhere, and the tripods are going to be in continuous movement throughout the metal case, i was afraid that the Plastic Cylinder that came with the tripods was going to brake the rubber boot in a matter of time, so i make a little incision on the axle and put a cir-clip (see the photo) , so that i may have more strength and durability.

Always remember that parts here are extremely difficult to find, so things have to last for years!.

Cheers,

Great stuff  :D interesting to see that the nut goes on backwards (the nylon part going on first). What is the point of the plastic tube? Can it be left off?

The small plastic tube that comes with the tripods goes before you insert the tripod on the axle. Remember that the tripod is in constantly movement inside the metal case , so the  rol of the plastic tube is to prevent that the tripod will "fell of" the axle, in other words, to prevent losing traction and limit the movement of the tripod.

That instruction sheet from Piotr/Motomax is also available in English from the Motoplax web site:
