You should take a leaf out of my book and don't even bother locking the boot, that way as they are walking past if they take a fancy to your speakers they can just open the door and help themselves!

Luckily, Graeme heard them and gave chase, parcel shelf and speakers returned safely!

Alternatively, if your husband treats you a great stereo for your new Fiat but actually fits it into his own car you don't have anything to them to nick anyway!!

Hello

some people are just so Grrrrr U know, i use to have all that gear in the renault clio i use to have but sold mine not really the same but it just took up all the space and was fed up of it. I also had my driver side mirror stolen off the kia in accrinton one night, it was anoyeing yet funny. i went back to the car and had to look three times before i relised it really had gone. i could not belive it.  i phoned my friends and was telling them about it so they came back to have a look. im sure someone stole it as the mirrior was facing to the curb and there was no other sign of damage to the car, it pretty exspensive for a new mirror on one of them.  :). Hope you get your stuff back bis 13.

thanks philippa

Its the beauty of owning a 126 - no self respecting thief would steal one. The  de villes and 500s are the worst for security. Despite that some little charmer tried to get in via my 500's quartlight once, and failed! What do they teach them these days?

why not just plug it into the mains, not only will it put off thiefs, it will stop any dogs that want to mark their territory
