New 126 BIS owner, East Sussex
« on: January 09, 2014, 01:45:06 PM »
Hi all

Just aquired a lovely example 126 bis from Jon (JonW126). I have been looking for a couple of years on and off and think I have come up trumps with this one.

In my younger days I owned an air cooled probably about 20 years ago for a little while (now in my 40's) and had so much fun driving it. Decided on a BIS this time, as it ticked the boxes for me.

It needs a few things doing on it, so I will probably be asking for advise at some point, as it looks like there is never a shortage of people willing to help on this forum. :thumbup

I have also signed up for 3yr membership, which I would reccommend as it's great value, what with the access to all sorts of manuals and data.

Welcome. I loved my little BIS as my daily driver, but can't wait to hit the shows with my air-cooled Hotrod.
