Im not sure if the 126 has the same wheel arch returns as the 500 , but even on standard steel rims on 145/12 tyres, the metal returns touch the rubber ,and thats without lowering, 13 inchers put on a 500 look too large , not sure what the 126 has. However you can buy a rim roller which bolts on the f/r hubs and with a bit of warmth with a hair dryer (to stop the paint cracking) you can very effectively roll the metal return under the arch, stopping the contact metel/rubber.
