choke
« on: March 09, 2006, 10:20:43 AM »
Hi Everyone,
Berushka is running fine, but small problem with choke   there seems to be two fixing points, one on the carb and one just before it, seems to hold the cable in place.  Trouble is I can't take the choke fully off, so the cable isn't fastened properly somewhere.  Advice would be appreciated.
Cheers
Graham
you can do it in a 126 (I have!)

I don't fully understand your problem, but the choke cable isn't working well, suspect rust or a kink. Either way, I would ditch the cable and get a new one. A kink is pretty much unfixable and though rust can be cleaned off and the cable lubed, its often a symptom of the outer casing being damaged and moisture getting in somewhere so the problem will just come back.
