Can anyone tell me the current owner of TUX--Y. I sold the car last year on this forum. It was the immaculate red one. Since then the car has been sold on.
I have given up on the idea of owning a Fiat 500 and converting it to 126 running gear. So, the original engine and gearbox from TUX--Y, which have covered circa 7k miles only, are for sale. If the new owner would like to contact me, He or She can have first refusal on them.
For anyone out there interested in these parts and my remaining collection of 500 and 126 items I will sell the job lot.
This includes:-
Fiat 500;
1x 2nd hand Bell housing (essential to for starter motor location).
1x New set of wishbone rubber bushes.
1x New set of front wheel bearings.
2x New grease caps.
1x New set caliper adaptor plates.
1x New set front 126 to wide pcd (500 early 126) adaptor plates.
Fiat 126;
1x New pair locking stub axle nuts.
1x 2nd hand engine 7k miles (1984 perfect) with none original later distributor.
1x 2nd hand gearbox 7k miles (1984 requires new small rubber boots otherwise perfect).
1x 2nd hand pre-engage starter motor (Servicable requires cleaning).
1x 2nd hand alternator (requires testing/cleaning).
Literature;
Original Fiat 126 Factory Service Manual, Specification and data book, Service time schedule and owners handbook.
I am looking for £300 for the lot. Everything Fiat I have will be included. I have listed the majority but cannot recal everything.
Also intend advertising in the Fiat 500 owners website which may be more apropriate.
