I have recently aquired a Fiat 126 Bis and due to a change in circumstance may well be forced to sell it. Currently it is stored in a car dealership that I work at and I may be moving sites shortly so it may have to go if I cannot store it at the new garage as I do not want to keep it outside. Details as follows:
1990G with 11,000 miles in Baby Yellow
Last on the road in 1990 and has been dry stored since then !
In the last few days it has had the following work done: Mew battery, new copper brake pipes, new fuel pipes, OSF flexi hose brake pipe replaced, new points, new spark plugs, new gearbox oil, new engine oil x 2 (Flushed with fresh oil and then changed again) new coolant, brakes fully serviced. It runs tip top.
The underside is original and solid and is just being prepared to be re-wax oyled and all the lights and door cards are out so we can do a proper job. The above is the benefit of running my own garage !
There is no rot on the body and it is in very good condition. The nearside front arch has a dent and light scrape in it (Not through the paint) and the NSR arch has a scrape on it (Not through the paint). There are a few small dings on the body that could be removed. The interior is in good condition with exception to the drivers side seat that has worn through.
I geniunely have no idea what to expect to return for the vehicle but a consideration of mine is wether I can return what I have invested in it. If anyone is interested or can provide some advise on what price to ask please reply to this thread. I can get pictures at the weekend (If anyone is interested) when it is off the ramp and on the road.
