Snow on my drive is a minimum of 150mms / 6 inches. I dug a path to get to my wife's 4wd Fiat Panda Cross . Went around the block a couple of times & the snow was scraping on the underside of the car. Then went down the long and at the end very steep hill which is the only way out of here. Very scary with the car just sliding on down the hill at times. But made it to the main road  
Snow comes in handy sometimes, hoping to send some pics to Pete as I am useless at posting them  [-/

It was a stunningly clear day here in Cornwall.  A little crisp under foot but no complaints at all! 

Forecast has some snow here for tomorrow though, so Cornwall being Cornwall, the place will grind to a stand-still.

Here we go again , yes Mick that hill is a bit of a mare which is why the guy who lives on the other side of the main road at the tee junction at the bottom installed a large RSJ in his substantial front wall. About 2 inches of snow now fallen over compacted ice on the back roads and it is still comming down. The Fiat Panda Cross has been working overtime & thanks Pete for putting up the pics, limited beer range though 
Anybody else noticed the strange driving styles that some people adopt in these conditions ?

Icy roads here.
Last week a car went past me on the motorway and picked something up which shattered my windscreen
They have to have one made as there are no 126 windscreens in the country according to autoglass. Insurance paying so not too bothered, it's not in my view.
My big mounting bolt broke the other day, with spectacular noises as a result.
I had a tie-down strap in the boot, tied the engine up to the boot latch and got home
On inpection of the bolt, it looks like it had a floor in it.
Battery seems to be pretty useless. It was 'new' last month, think halfrauds have had it on the shelf too long...

Other than that, a 4x4 was stuck on the hill going up away from my house with all 4 wheels spinning...and the fiat 126 drove past him with no bother at all. The trick i recon is tyre pressures and not bieng a plank and letting the wheels start slipping. I run my tyres a little lower pressure in this weather 

Just praying the time spent underneath with underseal is going to pay dividends [-/

Sadly two ladies died and four more were seriously injured last night less than ten miles from here.  A bus overturned after hitting sheet ice.  I think it made the main news, but it is all over the news down here.  Aparently a police car hit the coach on the same ice whilst attending the accident!

Beleive it or not it's now 21°C in Zagreb, Croatia in this time of year... This was Christmas without snow... How sad, last night i was in t-shirt outside - in december!!!

A usual hot weather down here I'm afraid, today is going to be 34°C, tomorrow 40°C.  You spend the whole time running from shadow to shadow or spend the whole day inside in the air conditioining.

I have to agree with prkahrvat on the weather that's this way. It snowed for a whole day (forgot to take photos ) then went down to -25 in some places and now it's +10 to 20 degrees. The day before yesterday we had rain and thunderstorms/lightning  something that is unusual at this time of year...
