I'll hand it to you, though it is an Izh 2125 Combi to be exact, which is similar to a Moskvitch (though i think Moskvitch didn't make the combi/hatchback bodied variant but instead had their own station wagon, the 2137.)

I noted on the web as both the Moskvich and IZH - I was guessing that it was like Lada and VAZ - one name for the russian market and one for export market.  Either way - ta.

Or Renault 17? I actually saw one of these the other day. I was amazed as I had forgotten this car. Most rusted away in about 6 months!

Correct Darrell  [-/ They're nearly the same, the differences are the front headlights (the 15 has square while the 17 has four round ones) and the rear window is different on the 17.
