hi peeps. not long joined this forum as i'm looking for another bis. used to have 2 before (one pink, one yellow), you may have seen them on the bill, so know something of thier foibles!
will be lookin to perchase round the end of the month as it've just had an op, so unable to drive.
oh, and i live in south london
here's hoping sone one can help

i am curious as i owned a pink bis reg f 124 0r 126 slu (i cant remember reg no ) with cow interior , i gave it to my mum in law and she gave it away. she lived in herne bay . she thought it had blown up , i found out that all that had happened was the dipstick had blown out and thrown oil about the engine bay. dont know what happened to the car would be nice to find out if it was the same car. did it have vice squad sun strip?

i always called it a matalic fucia pink (had orriganily been yellow). yes it had cow hide interior. no sunstrip though. got it from some one in herne bay. the alternator had siezed and there was a steering problem. but i was able to use my other one as a doner and had them both on the road for about 3 weaks!
sold it to a guy in reading, about 3 years ago, with loads of spares.
#hmmm, wonder if he ever did any thing with it. might see if he wants to get rid#
