Hi everyone!!

Last Thursday I saw a BIS for sale locally...in a totally unplanned move, I am now the proud owner of the little beauty - the amusing thing is that I had absolutely no intention of buying another car, but just couldn't resist.

Just a shade over 40,000miles on the clock, light blue, bodywork in great condition and generally a great little runner. I sorted out some very reasonable insurance today and am really looking forward to getting out and about in the good weather.

I'm interested in joining the club, so the cheque is in the post Chris.

Other than that, I really look forward to getting to know these cars. Mine looks to be a good runner, but I'm not afraid of spanners, so hopefully I can learn from your posts and maybe contribute as I get to know my new car

Great Dave!!! i will send you the workshop manual when you have joined, which is on cd-rom, they never did a haynes for the BIS just the aircooled. The workshop is better anyway.

I own the BIS and have learnt alot from it, so we can all help you with any problems!

Well done dave, 126's particulalry the BIS's make good runner rounds for town dirivng, but i find my BIs is great on country roads too because of its handling it glides round corners.

Anybody go on the motorway often with theirs??

Hi fella! well done, i was impulsive in buying too but what the hell, you only live once, just run around in the 126 as a second car and have fun, people look more at our cars going by than probably jags and other fancy cars!

Yes, couldnt agree more, 126's are far from ford mondeos!!!

Hi all,

cars going well Chris thanks,hope yours is? ..just back from my show, it was great fun, ..the only 126 there! one nice red 500 though.

Car mascot is kermit and so on the lap around the shows'grounds, the crowds of people on the edge were chuckling at the car and kermit poking his head out of the window (thanks to my brother!)

another big show next week locally... anyone coming???!

Whens the uxbridge/middlesex show?? end of this month, like i said i live up the road, it would be good to meet? Im walking up ben nevis at the end of this month so i'll find out and post the date of when the show is. Always great there!

Fiatfsm do you have a stand at uxbridge car show? you have in the past and last year, what about this year? I dont know how it works but would we be alowd to park ours up next to the Fiat Gb motor club stand?? i remember you saying you are the registra?

Uxbridge car show is on the 17th!!! So i will be going. Let me know if anybody is going.

Shall we enter the 126 club? for the show, its free for the club to do so. I can only do this if there will be a few of us going at least. I have up untill the 11th to enter so not long.
