Hello from Perth, Western Australia
« on: January 27, 2007, 09:43:43 AM »
Hello,

Im Mark, I am a proud owner of a red 1990 aircooled FSM NIKI 650 and my girlfriend hates it.

I am a Polish Patriot and a car enthusiast hence this car is ideal for me.  My parents drove their fiat 126p from north Poland to Austria before migrating to Australia.

I will begin documenting all steps taken in converting this car into a circuit racer which i hope will compete against WRX's and other high powered rice burners.

Kind Regards,

Mark B.

im interested how the nikkis get on in hot places,im very close to moving to malaysia,34c is normal there.....there are 500's there that seem to survive ok,ive made some small mods to help with cooling, and may end up fitting aircon from a perudoa/proton cancil or other small car

i generally avoid driving it over 30 degrees cause it's too damn hot in the niki's, i prefer driving the nissan 180sx cause atleast it has air conditioning :P

mechanically i think they'll be fine, however when i purchased the car (not tuned and unloved) it did stall every so often, but that was probably me getting used to the car :)
