they do break, especialy if the last driver was a savage.........matt,make sure you give the 'box and engine an oil change asap(and remove the filler plug before draining).......and dont forget the oil filter........99% chance it will never have been cleaned......

place your fuel filter before the fuel pump that way no rubbish will get to the pump. your oil filter is not like the norm. if you look at the alternator you will see a belt connected to another pulley this pulley houses the centrifugal oil filter to access this filter you must first place a jack under the engine and take the weight off the engine mount.disconnct the three electrical connectors for the reverse fog and no plate lights, then undo the bolts that hold the rear panel on the panel and bumper will come off . you can then undo the ring of 10mm bolts that hold the filter on. simply clean out all the crud inside and make sure you replace the gasket (big o ring)when you reassemble. you can do this without changing the oil but can be a little messy plug the hole where the oil seeps out for less mess. to be honest if you are going to do this job change your oil at the same time (obviously empty with oil hot before the cleaning of the filter).
