Bores and Pistons?

does anyone know if you can just simply stick 650 bores and pistons into a 500 or 600cc engine? I know with the VW beetles you can do this easily, but is this possible and what else do you need, crankshaft?
i always see these on ebay
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/FIAT-500-126-650cc-PISTON-CYLINDER-SET-BRAND-NEW_W0QQitemZ190044272052QQihZ009QQcategoryZ31352QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
and think when the engine does wear out is it possble just to lump these into a 600cc?
regards
Chris

Hi!
Unfortunately the 650 cylinders aren't plug&play device for the 600 engine. The hole for the cylinder in 600 is bit smaller. You just need to rebore the holes and its done. I had it done to my engine.
