i use unleaded on mine anyway, checked with my local FIAT specialist and he told me to use unleaded. Although i used to use real leaded petrol on my old aircooled as far as i could remember.

hi Bruce, yes BIs's are fine, alve seats are strong enough, just the aircooled ones that you are advertise to add additives i.e. castrol valve master.

Chris, those fuel catalysts dont work. They have been tested independantly and found to be pretty much useless.

oh dear,   i had my doubts as the catalyst is tin, since when has tin been in leaded fuel? :???:  the other thing they dont seem to be able to explan is the catalyst process, which seems odd.

will stick to castrol valve master,

what do you use barry? i dont even think any of this stuff is actualy  necessary, unless the car is really thrashed about for long periods.

until this year I was still using leaded fuel as there is a garage up the road selling it, but, its now well over £6 a gallon so stuff that! now use an additive, think it is castrol, has a green and yellow label, supposed to be the best stuff.
