Valves and tappets ok?

Hi Cars, they seem fine when i was lapping the valves in they were free, and not sticking i oiled the stems before i put the valve springs/collets on, if it was a hairline crack, i would have thought i would have got a low pressure reading but there was zero. it exactly the same as before i put the new head gasket on, its got to be something to do with the valves but can't see anything wrong as yet. THE MIND BOGGLES.

Hi Cars, the valve timming hasn't been touch, i took the spark plug out of no'2 and turned the car over it started and ticked over on no'1 cyl' very strange' i'll have another look tomorrow, at the moment i'm scratching my head.
