Remanufactured Weber 28 IMG Carb
« on: May 08, 2022, 01:49:41 PM »
Hi,
I think about replacing my Weber carb as it is leaking at the base. The base has worn & even leaks with new gasket.
Has anyone bought a remanufactured carb, is it worth the saving in price compared to a genuine weber carb?
Anyone bought parts from Racambi Fiat in Wroclaw , Poland?
Thanks

The base can't be fixed?
I've used a file to re-do the base surface of the carb, since mine was a bit bend. This solved my problems.

Thanks bertvb, my base was worn due the previous air leak so I filed it as flat as I could and used a silicone gasket but it's leaking again.
