Spring like metal found in sump
« on: April 17, 2021, 07:13:25 PM »
Anybody have any idea where these tiny springs (maybe 2mm diameter) have appeared from , found in the bottom of my sump (air-cooled 650) pre rebuild.

Many thanks all,
David

At only 2mm diameter, I would guess that's a spring from inside a crankshaft oil seal.
