Roof Panel Lining Sagging

The fabric from the roof panel has started to come away. Just wondered if anyone else has fixed theirs back up and how. I'm toying with fixing it with a fabric spray adhesive like this..

Hi, you may have to go for an automotive adhesive to cope with the temperatures in summer. You can find these on eBay.

Sunny warm day so pulled the roof lining out today. Removed three 1/4" square plastic grommets securing it and also two tailgate hinge plastic covers so as to get the thing to clear when dropping and pulling through the tailgate opening. Included some pics below. The square piece of foam on the back of the board disintegrated, 26 years old, so fair enough.The hardboard is fine, I plan on saving the material and reusing if I can. Looks like its a case of spending a bit of time carefully removing the old backing foam from the fabric and the board. Will have to see how it pans out.

Finally got round to sorting the headlining. Didn't use the old headboard due to it being warped, so bought a sheet of perforated hard board, cut out using the old one as a template, using trimbond to glue new headlining. Also stuck some black sound insulation sheet on the board rear. Then fitted some dodo sound deadening mat to the roof, which made a massive  difference. Knocked up a quick video which demonstrates before and after..

That's a cracking job, what a massive difference that sound deadening makes on the roof....ive got mine to to but mines got a sunroof so it'll be a bit more complicated....can I ask where you sourced the material Andy...looks brilliant mate does that ...👍👍
