On the hunt for a 126
« on: September 04, 2015, 04:39:10 PM »
Hello. Been thinking of getting a 126 for a while now and finally got round to joining this great forum to pick some knowledgeable minds. I would prefer to get an aircooled model and looking at ebay etc Polish imports seem to be most readily available and affordable. Apart from headlights and fog/reversing light what else should I be aware of when getting an import through mot? Finally seen this on ebay what how much would you say it's worth http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Fiat-126-unique-last-edition-For-Sale-/252078190821?hash=item3ab107f0e5. Sorry if post is is a bit long winded got lots of questions to ask, should of got round to it sooner!

The ELX is a POS over in Poland hehe. Although i've got my eyes on that auction as the electronic ignition would be perfect to play around with for my new/old plans :).

Welcome to the forum Macmonkey, My advise is don't buy a 126 blind on ebay especially the later ones that were built for the home market as they had little rusty protection some members on here have bought a decent looking one only to find the floor was rotten, The one you posted looks nice, and Bedford isn't that far away from Nottingham so ask if you can go and see it before you bid.
