Got the bug for a 126 again!

Alright you lot! been away from the forum for a while wharlst i have been working on my other projects. (no space for a 126! :sad:  )

BUT

My Mini project is nearing a close and my mate who is a bit of a ameture scrap dealer has been given a D reg FSM in turd. 'Tatty but it runs' were his words! Ive not seen it yet but i have managed to knock him down from £100 to free so looks like it will be joining my clan sometime. Hopefully it will be good enough to bodge up and get a MOT then i can have some fun!

and are they group 7 arches on the mini?
If you have any spare 7.5 inch disc setups i'd be very interested.

Spec list is rather long

Its a 77 shell, strengthened with weld in cage, steel flip front, Miglia arches
Fully adustible suspension, GAZ dampers, 10x7 split rims w. 165/70 tyres
1100cc motor race bottom end, 998cooper head w. 1275 valves, HIF 44 carb, Cooper close ratio box.

The cars look very nice, but just not quite a 126

Remember never sell your 126 you will only get another one.

(I got another one whilst still breaking the 1st one).

Good luck with the new project, will the wheels from that old Mini fit the 126?

Mini fitment is 4x101 but i hope they fit as im wanting to fit my 7x13 superlites from my pick up.

I made the wheels for the mini myself so if needed i could make another set in 4x98mm

But no my 126 will have banded steels if anything i think
