155/55 R14 over 5J14 - 52,61cm diam.

165/50 R14 over 5,5J14 - 52,06cm diam.

165/45 R15 over 5,5J15 - 52,95cm diam.

The original 135 R12 are 52,62cm,

            135/80 R12 are 52,08cm

and Bis  135/70 R13 51,92cm diameter,

so they will fit nice.

 ;)

PS - look for magnesium wheels of not more than 5kg.

There are some nice 14" inch alloys which can be absolutely easily fitted on the 126 with the appropriate tyres. It strongly depends on the offset. Too much offset will cause the wheel chafing the wheelarch, too few offset will cause that the inner side of the rim would be in an unwanted relationship with the steering linkage. Look for wheels with 5.5 inch width and the ET number around 25-35. That's a sure shot. Some of the 6 inch wide wheels can be fitted too, but in all cases, it's worth trying before buying.

Whoa, those Maser wheels are just supercool.  8)
Classic, not plastic :)

Something more about the offset- a calculator if needed.

http://kgm.tiwing.com/calcs/offsetcalc.htm

I don't remember well the offsets of the 3 different rim types of 126. Someone with info?

Also, when you put wider tyres (in our case), you will need to cut off a bit or change the rear springs with lower ones to obtein perfect handling.
