Electrical system(URGENT!!!)
« on: June 13, 2012, 11:00:37 AM »
Hi everyone, i just finished rebuilding my car, but it still doesn't work i am going to get crazy!!!
Anyway here is the thing, i rebuilded my car's engine, but i have now an ignition problem. This is why i look for someone to help me to advice and help me to check the electrical system of the car. I don't care about the whole electrical thing, i just want this car to run... :(
Anyone got any advice?
I suspect 3 major reason for this :
1-A badly configured distrib
2-A bad coil
3-Bad spark plugs.
Anyone got any idea why? or how? Please i need help

PS: The pump is fine, i just repaired the starter, and checked if they were current in the spark plug(by putting a screwdrive and look for sparks, and yet there is.) and it look like there is curent in it.
To anyone who wants to check my rebuild for more info or advice here it is : http://club126uk.co.uk/smf/index.php?topic=6841.0

Try This,

Allign the timing marks on the front pulley, to the 10 deg mark on the engine.
Remove the distributor.
Turn the engine one full turn clockwise with the distributor out.
Then Drop the distributor back in.
Time it up again and try.
