Hello people.

Glad I have found a home where I can chat about the greatest car ever!
I have recently acquired a 1987 126 Bis after 11 years of yearning for my dream car. It is called "Rocket" and it is wonderful.
It's not stupid...It's advanced.

I have not got a Fiat 126 yet, but hope to see your one about soon.
Never see any on the road, in Northampton.

rocket has done 27,000 mile approximately, am really pleased about that.
It is red at the moment but soon to be black, tiny bit of rust around the left rear wheel arch but that's it!

I agree there are not enough on the road anyway, but very few in the Northampton area. there was one on ebay for £200 the other day in Northampton though. That may explain why there arent any!

Zim are you painting it shiny back or matt black?

i think there are plenty 126's about, (not that we see them on the roads) but most are layed up in poeples garages and driveways. Not wanting to part with their 126;s because of the happy memories, even though the rust hole's are the size of dinner plates!!!

So wrap you 126 up warm this winter and sort those rusty bits!!!

definately shiny black.
The paint job is probably going to happen when the weather gets warmer.
