rear fog light and reverse light?

I have a 1974 126 and it doent have the rear for light or the reverse light and I was wondering if I could adapt this lights to my car. the rear fog light i think it will not be a problem because I can just install a switch inside the car to turn it on and off but what would i need for the reverse light to work? can i install a reverse light switch to the transmission?

I removed my bumpers and I want to install this to cover the bumper mount holes.

.                                                                                                                  So from what year on did the 126 cone with reverse light, I might be able to get that part at one of the local scrap yards
