Welcome to the forum,

im pleased to hear youre now a 126 owner! the girls will love it, "arrrr its so cute..." :D ;D

try footman james insurance company, im not sure if they will do a classic car policy if youre under a certain age.

sometimes putting your parents on as a named driver brings down the premium slightly.

Regards

Chris

yeah, i know how you feel sam, i cycle to school by bike everyday. not quite as far as you (about 3 1/2 miles) but i live in hilly south wales. just done my exams so have ten week hols :D.

if i put my dad on my policy it'll work out cheaper. don't know about my mum though.

saving up with my ema and a part timer to put towards my lessons etc.

bah, i drive to college  :D (those few times i go anyways) but parking is reall expensive here and finding a free spot is a real pain. my college is in the middle of the city and does have its own parking space, but only for the proffesors  >:(
i earned my whole car just by working part time in MickyDs (night shifts) so i know how hard it is earning money and studying trust me...  [-/

Hi sam! when i had my BIS last year i insured it with quinn direct (irish company) for about £700 on a provisional liscence, i think once i had passed it went up to £840.something so not too bad, but it's different for everyone i guess.. nice choice in car  [-/
