looking for a non runner for sale

hello just getting to grips with these little gems and am looking for a non runner or similar to have a bit of fun with just wondering if there is such a thing not really bothered about condition as its going to be a ground up rebuild so any help appreciated thanks again

I would still aim for a solid car, panels are available, but some hard to find, and cost will soon start to escalate.

Plenty of project cars about, the problem is finding one in your area.

thanks for the info and the welcome i have been looking at the price of the parts and compared to what i am use to paying for the beetle stuff its a snip still expensive but a hell if a lot cheaper i built and engine for one of my bugs 10 yrs ago and it was 3.5 k so i am hoping to do a ground up rebuild for that sort of budget with a few mods thrown in a good shell would be a bonus but i am a fabricator and welder so stuff like welding is just par for the course i think
