Hi everyone,
Just thought id say hi, Today I recieved my christmas present, wow, a  gorgeous pink Fiat 126 BIS, its so lovely, I had one 20 years ago ,my first car and have always wanted another.
it seems to have much more power than I remember and cruised down the motorway with ease.
I noticed on 2 seperate occasions I seemed to totally loose power and rather panicked, pulled over to the hard shoulder, put it into first gear and  it seemed fine.
Is it possible that it may have just "popped"out of gear?.....its a bit of a worry as other than this it seems perfect.
I filled the tankand  used £15 worth of petrol to travel around 110 miles, does that seem about right ?..........how can a grown adult be so excited...im going to get the furry seat covers and the tacky nodding poodle tomorrow...it just has to be done.

Hi Helen welcome to the forum.
Hope you enjoy your christmas present (126) as for the mpg you should expect to get 35 to 50 mpg just depends on how you drive it which way the winds blowing and how heavy your make-up bag is,  hehe   sorry had to put that in, as for loosing power it does'nt take much on a motorway to slow the car down a gust of wind can feel as if you have hit a wall, a good thing to do with a new car is to have the plugs, points, timing, and oil changed.   Enjoy....
P.S. if you go to your profile and update your Location: there maybe some near you if you get stuck at any time.
