I've just swapped from dynamo to alternator and my indicators are extremely slow and lights seem a little dim. Car starts and runs fine but I can't work out why I've got this problem. I've done away with the regulator as per very specific instructions for re-wiring so don't understand how I've got this problem. The indicators seem to work better the more the engine is revving which I might have expected from a dynamo but surely not an alternator.
