ive just fitted a Chrome and Glass cleanable fuel filter, i believe these were used alot, i got mine from "Brighton Breeze" VW beetle and camper van show. I only paid £7 for mine, i thought was a bargain, as only a few weeks before i paid £3+ for a cheap disposable inline one.
ive put it before the pump, prevents dirt from blocking the pump up and also looks good. I have also got a cheap disposable one between the pump and carb, in my view this is now redundant but will leave it there for now.
