New crankshaft Fiat 500 / 126 with 76 mm stroke
« on: March 30, 2015, 03:33:35 PM »
If anybody interested I have in stock a brand new crankshaft with 76 mm stroke :) for Fiat 500 / 126

By increasing the stroke of the piston increasing the capacity of the engine in a Fiat

Using this crankshaft:

With serial pistons diameter 77,0 mm we have 700 cc
With pistons diameter 80,0 mm (from BIS) we have 760 cc
With pistons diameter 82,0 mm we have 800 cc
With pistons diameter 83,0 mm we have 820 cc
With pistons diameter 86,0 mm we have 875 cc :D

The price is 400£ - it's a good offer, because similar crankshafts with the same stroke 76 mm costs in Italy minimum 800 euro :)

No, con rods are serial. You only need grind the cylinders from below or from above to suitable pistons

I see is this because the crank will touch the bottom of the cylinder? How much do you think I would need to bring off?

If you use pistons from BIS diameter 80,0 mm you don't have to grind cylinders, because pioston from BIS is 5-6 mm shorter than serial piston 77,0 mm. Just Plug and Play :)
