Fog lamp switch
« on: March 08, 2015, 05:09:19 PM »
Hi,

I have to re test my Fiat as it failed because its missing the illuminated fog light switch.

I got the swithch online but I struggle to fit it in. Originally there was no switch in the car. Do I need it for MOT? Car is from 1985

Thanks

What type of switch was fitted when it failed the MOT? was it a plain aftermarket switch?  There are so many illuminated aftermarket switches availble, it should just be an easy swap..

There wasnt any switch. there are only lights, emergency light and windscreen heater switches.

There is a space for an extra switch but there wasnt any connector behind it and it was covered. And the switch I got doesnt fit (although I got just a regular one that the mechanic told me to get)

Well I see what he says tomorrow. I was hoping I dont need any

One thing after another with my little fiat….really want to drive it now!:-)

Is there a rear fog light fitted and no switch?
