clutch problems
« on: September 05, 2014, 06:53:55 PM »
I've replaced the clutch assembly  on my wifes 126 bis  , replaced the cable (with some help from your forum)

but now i cant get it adjusted
ive turned the setsrews up and down the tread for several times and seems rarely can find the sweet spot where the pedal engages the clutch

when i find that spot it feels like the cable comes to a point of alot resistance and then "knacks" and engages like it should but up on releasing the pedal the clutch does'nt engage anymore or ekeeps engaged

now i'm wondering could i installed the friction plate wrong ? or is there something wrong with my way of adjusting the mechanism

does anyone knows a site for "fiat 126bis clutch adjusting for dummies " becouse i cant get i figured out yet
