Shaky electrics
« on: July 30, 2012, 12:03:35 PM »
All,
just notices that the flahser flashes at different speeds , depending on the engine speed and whether. reading the manual, not sure if this is due to
a. the regulator that's on the alternator
b. one of the capacitors ( although i think they both relate to the ignition, given their placement)
c, battery on the way out ( although it seems strong and cranks over no problem)
on all my cars, the rate is steady regardless of the conditions

The 126 is one of the exceptions to the rule and what you describe is quite normal. My 126 has got a small buzzer fitted and the rate of "buzz" goes up & down like a yoyo  :$
