Looks a bit beat up and bodged...
http://cars.shop.ebay.com.au/Cars-/29690/i.html?_nkw=niki&_catref=1&_fln=1&_trksid=p3286.c0.m282

plus another 4 advertised in the classefieds

The top 3 seem to jog my memory of being on eBay before at exhorbitant prices and not selling......probably why they're on carpoint now...

Well, it's back again after ending bidding around the $800 mark.  I wonder if the bidder pulled out upon seeing it?

There's also one listed that's had a Charade motor jammed in it.

... and it's back for a third time, this time it mentions that the original sale is now very much in dispute.  Back tracking through eBay it sold for $1325! Wow that's really high!

had a look at the white one off carpoint .. Owner is madly in love with it and i dont think he wants to sell it.. I think the $2800 is a little high for the condition.. I missed a blue one in Sydney that I think would have been a treasure.. oh well keep searchin..

Well there are 5 on eBay now including the one I started this post with.  3 appear to be from the same seller.  I feel they're all priced rather high considering the condition of them.  Most appear to be turning up in Queensland and NSW at the moment.  Have you thought of searching in the Gumtree website?  There always seems to be one there on the east coast.

Geez I bought mine just over 12 months ago for $900 and it was licenced and came with a parts car and I thought that was steep!

Amazing what 12 months can make.

I had a bloke come up to me at a servo and offer me 4K to buy mine. It cost me 550 bucks to get on the road. I always knew these things would go up in value of their own accord but i think that ads like the five up on ebay do a lot to help the cause - especially the modified one with claims of 0-60 in 3.8 secs and the reference to you-tube-just gets people syked to do the same. Us fiat freaks in OZ know how hard a GC niki is to come by with rego and i think that when most people see them on the road they think "thats rare must be worth money"

The times are slowly changing. Nikis were regarded as total pooboxes by the general public as recently as a few years ago. Now they're getting respect and its surprisingly from young people. I cant wait to get my project on the road (havent been able to put much time in lately) then i'm sure (at least in Sydney) you will see then gain a lot more respect.

My mates are catching up to me on their builds so you might see a group of three cruising the streets by Christmas.

The exact same thing happened here in the UK. It was not too many years ago that anyone with £50 spare could pick up an air cooled runner , then WHAM , all of a sudden the prices increased 10 , 20 , 30 + fold.
