I've done the same for the chain cover with oil cooler bits and the long flat oil cooler  :oops:

I welded a standard alloy take off to the casing, drilled a hole through to the oil pump, tapped the end of the oil pump shaft.  Cost £10 to have the welding done, not very good at welding alluminium.  The return is the allen bolt just above and to the right of the oil pump. Not fitted yet as need to find a good place to fit the cooler and filter.  Will post some photographs later.
