hello, im dave and im 17 and i am getting an h reg fiat 126bis for my first car! its gona be awesome, i dont know why lots of teenagers have these as first cars, they are soo cheap to insure!

well am 17 nd had my BIS since i was 15 turning 16 lol nd my cheapist insurance qoute is £1,300 nd i did one yesturday nd it was £1,500 nd they dont have them cos there not fast enuff lol nd it ant got the street cred of a corsa( which i think are rubbish to tell you the truth) ull have great fun pal

cool, i looked on confused.com and i got a quote for 700 pounds. i think. is it possible to get classic ionsurance on these beasts?

Hi chap!

classic car insurance will be based purely on your age and area!
i'd say now that it will be unlikely you'll get because of being 17, the norm for the classic car insurance industry is 25+
however if you call someone like Lancaster insurance they might insure you if you put one of your parents as a named driver on the policy.

Unfortunately to have a classic insurance policy on your 126 one of the conditions are that your main everyday car is also covered on a normal type policy.
