Bis Front Bumper Wanted
« on: February 08, 2010, 06:21:03 PM »
I'm looking for a Bis front bumper in good condition, so if anyone has one that they'd like to sell, please let me know!

I can be contacted by email, [email protected] or mobile, 07906 602755.

I live in Rainham, Kent and I can pick the bumper up if its not too far away, or alternatively I will cover the postage costs.

Thanks for your replies Frank126 and Rusty's Uncle!

I have been looking for one of these for two months after mine was smashed by a drunk driver.  I've ordered two new ones from German online shops and both have informed me that they have none in stock! One shop took six weeks to tell me this!...  I now know to put a post on this forum first!!

Firstly, Frank126, thanks for your kind offer.  I'll see if I can get the one Rusty's Uncle has got first, just because its closer to hand.  But I'll still bear your one in mind should I not be able to get hold of that one for any reason.  I would of course cover the postage fees.

Rusty's Uncle - That sounds great, how much would you want for it?  Would you be prepared to post it? I would of course cover the postage fees.  If not, it is possible for me to come and collect it, so if you could let me know, it would be appreciated.

Strange , I was just looking at that front bumper in my garage this morning as I was shifting some parts. I was wondering why it was nice and black still when the later Bis bumpers seemed to turn light grey when exposed to sunlight. If the damage to the bumper deformed the metal work ( which is the real bumper as far as protection goes ) then you will have problems with fitting just the plastic top cover. Any way this one is complete with all the major structure & ready to bolt on so would be expensive to ship . How does £25 for the complete assembly suit you  :)

That suits me fine!  The earliest I can come to pick it up would be this Sunday (21st).  Would this suit you?  If not, let me know when would suit you and I'll try to work around that.  Thanks.
