Story is: about 6 weeks ago I bought two of 126's in Poland. One (older one) went to one of our club memebers as a sound donor for his resto project. The other one came as a "box" to transport some parts. The reason I bought two was - the same owner, stucked in the same garage, and for both price was quite tempted. So I decide to take both as they are.

My idea was to have the other one for parts but what happend next changed my mind. My friend martin who lives just 1/2 mile away and always helps me with any of my motor ideas came along and after an hour of looking at it he said: 3h of my job and this car will run as good as daily driver :) So obviously I gave it a chance and here we go. He bleeded the brakes, adjust mixture in carb, checked it all over and I did very satisfying drive around my hometown. So decision was made to deal with few rust spots and two small holes (have a look at pictures). And we started in a beggining of December.

Thats how it looked when up and running:

And here we go with todays pictures. Car is still dirty and dusty but after few minutes with soft clotch it more or less looks like a nice fiat. It will be avaliable for sale in a sale section when I will be able to wash it and polish it properly. I have still the same problem with space so if anyone will be interested I will put detailed description. I think it will be lovely "starter pack" for someone. With few minor things to do it is already good daily driver, sound nice with exhaust.

I have a full set of professional decals "rally d'alpes 1980". Wanted to stick them on, what do you think??? :)
