HAVING JUST STRIPPED MY AIRCOOLED I FIND MYSELF IN NEED OF REAR AXEL/WHEEL HUBS. IF ANYONE HAS ANY I WOULD GLADLY PAY MONEY FOR SAID ITEMS. THANKS IN ADVANCE

the haynes manual calls it an axel stub. page 65 fig 7.3 sorry i'm used to motorcycle parts

I'll have a look in the garage, i should have a few old sets lying around. Furthermore, I'll be in Glasgow (albeit briefly) in 3 weeks time, might be able to save you some postage if you're the right side of Edinburgh.
