I picked up a 1980 126 De ville on sunday and look forward to lots of helpful advice  [-/

The car is ACG 832V

Does anyone have any info on the car or history of the vehicle?

It came with lots of manuals and a box of bits, the chap I bought it from (Dave) gave me some info but if anyone has more that would be great.

I plan to sort out the corrosion issues (mainly appear to be cosmetic, but I need to investigate further..) and bring the car up to a nice example.

Don't know about your particular car/reg but i know the de-ville is a pretty rare sight, as its an 1980 on a "V" plate you've probably got one of the last italian built ones...

theres a retro car meet first wednesday of every month at the angel pub at larling (near snetterton) I am a regular there (though not this month cos i am working)

but if you want to do a local Im sure tomaz and fightin torque (and problee mick given he will pretty much drive anywhere for a meet) will come along.

as I said if you need any assistance I have a garage full of tools!!
