New Chat software added!

I don't know if many of you have used the chat link on this forum?
But it has now been updated with much better software!

If there is enough interest, a day and a time could be sorted for a chat?

Its basicly the original internet 'chatroom' system. Its very basic on the face of it (non of this fancy graphics and emotions like you get on modern chat software you make up your own :-) ). Its a bit complicated for a newcomer to get started on but its relly not that hard.

You need a program called mIRC which you can d/l from here for free: http://www.mirc.com/get.html

theres a detailed guide here too: http://www.mirc.com/irc.html and here http://www.mirc.com/install.html

If you get stuck ask and remember the channel (room) ive started is called #fiat126uk and its on the server uk.quakenet.org

Beware its addictive :D :D \o/

If you are up to using the chat room.

I think the best option is if you are online to open the chat room page and then minimize it, make sure the pc sound is on, if someone then enters the chat room you will then get a chime sound.

You are not committed to enter the chat room if you do not want to!
